He is the managing trustee and should be driving a fairer result. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">Has he lost <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">his sense of reason and his commitment to the American people? <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">Sylvia Burwell, Secretary of Health and Human Services, is newly appointed.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">However, how did she not ask her own staff about these low assumptions for health care inflation?<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">That staff just produced a report that indicated health inflation will resume its assent shortly.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">Do you homework next time, Sylvia before you sign off on a report for Medicare. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">The American people deserve better from you. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">The outside Trustees,<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">Charles Blahous and Robert Reischauer, ought to be protecting the public better than this rather than going along with this politically motivated \u2018hope\u2019 projection.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\">And where are these two in pushing the Congress and the President on stabilizing these Trust Funds so that we, our children, and our grandchildren can continue to enjoy the benefits of these programs. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman\">Straighten out and do your jobs.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Sam Allen <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let me get several things off my chest on this embarrassment of a report. \u00a0The Trustees are asleep or not performing their fiduciary duty. \u00a0Jacob (Jack) Lew, Secretary of the Treasury and Managing Trustee of the Trust Funds, is a tough budget specialist and yet he allows this \u2018hope\u2019 projection a pass.
